Sean Rodgers, SFS Co-Founder
Interventionist & Family Coach

Sean is a trained ARISE interventionist and family coach who has worked in the behavioral health space for over a decade. As a professional and person in long-term recovery, his passion is helping families heal by providing them with education, information, and resources for quality care.

Throughout his career, Sean has worked with adults, young adults, and adolescents in adult and adolescent treatment centers. He is passionate about his profession and loves working with families. Having firsthand experience from his own family, Sean understands how difficult it can be to tackle addiction and mental health when families don’t know where to turn or who to trust.

My commitment is to help families have a voice in the process while also doing their work of detaching with love and setting boundaries. In my experience, if this is done properly and boundaries are firmly held, then and only then will the identified loved one seek help. - Sean

Cody Gowin, CRS, CFRS
Operations & Client Coordinator

Cody hails from the great Commonwealth of Kentucky, where his personal journey into recovery brought changes far deeper than geography alone. Along the way, he discovered his passion for helping others who — much like himself — struggled for years with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health challenges, often trying to self-treat in silence. Once hopeless, Cody now dedicates himself to helping others find hope from within and, when needed, through professional support — dispelling the stigma in the process.

Cody has gained professional and personal expertise through hands-on experience and mentorship from industry leaders from top five nationally ranked treatment centers. With over five years working directly with professionals and families navigating recovery and mental health, he is Recovery Dynamics Certified and holds both his Pennsylvania State Board Certified Recovery Specialist and Certified Family Recovery Specialist credentials.

If I knew then what I know now, I could have spared so much pain — not just my own, but the pain of those who love me most. I can't go back, but I can take my power back and help guide others toward realizing there is a light even in the darkest of places. - Cody
